What We Value On Our Team

Ashé Prepartory Academies

Ashé Preparatory Academies is a P-12 Model open to all students. It is based on the book  Cultivating the Genius of Black Children, which provides information and research about the learning styles, multiple intelligences , adult-child interactions, cultural expectations that strengthen and support Black learners.

We value those who support diverse learning  styles and perspective in the classrooms and in interactions relationships with coworkers, families and communities. This includes but not limited to:

• Cultivating genius in ourselves and others
• Appreciation of cultural and racial diversity
• Cultivating a sense of belonging
• Strengthening challenges and challenging strengths
• Working collaboratively with families for their goals and expectations for their scholars
• Working collaboratively with scholars for their goals and expectations
• Using projects and studies to integrate curriculum using real world situations
• Honoring the families and respecting their lived experiences
• Being intentional about providing an environment where scholars and adults have power and control over their personal and professional growth and development 
• Supporting  leadership development for our scholars, families  and communities
